The Domestic Abuse Commissioner has written to the Lord Chancellor after the Spending Review

The Domestic Abuse Commissioner has written to the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice Dominic Raab calling for funds that would improve criminal justice outcomes for domestic abuse survivors including a dedicated funding pot to be made available for ‘by and for’ services and money for a national monitoring and reporting mechanism to track the family courts’ performance on how cases involving allegations of domestic abuse are treated in private law children’s proceedings.
