Standing Together have run the Blooming Strong campaign since 2014, promoting the strength of victims and survivors of domestic abuse during the 16 Days of Action beginning on International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25th November) and culminating in Human Rights Day (10th December).
This year the networking brunch moved online, with special guest BGT semi-finalist, singer, actress and survivor Becky O’Brien. The Commissioner shared her experiences of her role, and enjoyed participating in group discussions. Becky giving a beautiful rendition of ‘Over the Rainbow’ for the group was the icing on the virtual cake!
